It has also been upgraded with new facilities and a new station, making it an ideal way to explore the mesmerizing Hong Kong landscape.
With its new look, the next-generation Peak Tram offers a modern-classic design that includes a new terminus and state-of-the-art facilities. These improvements significantly enhance the visitor experience and increase the tram's capacity to welcome tourists from all corners of the world.
How to get on the Peak Tram
If you want to get to Victoria Peak quickly and conveniently, the best way is to take the Peak Tram. This tram can take you up to the 550-meter high street in only 7 minutes. Here's how you can get on the Peak Tram!
To ride the Peak Tram, you need to go to the 'The Peak Tram' located on the ground. You can find the boarding location on Google Maps by searching for The Peak Tram. The station is within 10 minutes from Central, so it's closer than you may think.
Get your ticket in advance
We highly recommended to purchase a ticket for The Peak Tram Station in advance from WAUG to avoid the long waiting lines at the site. With a ticket from WAUG, you can scan your QR code and bypass the waiting lines. This means you can save time and have a smoother experience for the Peak Tram.
Here are some tips that might be handy!
This 6th generation Peak Tram is green-colored! The interior looks much nicer and cleaner than before. When boarding, we recommend sitting on the right side of the direction of travel to enjoy the beautiful night view and landscape of Hong Kong while going up to Victoria Peak.
Seating is arranged on a first-come, first-served basis, and even a short 7-minute ride will give you a magnificent view of Hong Kong at night.
